Planning and curriculum development is a job that requires in-depth and comprehensive study to meet the eligibility requirements. Six basic principles must be considered in the development of mathematics syllabus based on competencies, namely: learning opportunities for students of all subjects without exception, the curriculum is not merely a collection of teaching materials, but may reflect a coherent mathematical activity, mathematical learning requires an understanding of student learning needs, readiness to learn and service learning facilities, an opportunity for students to learn mathematics actively to build the structure of concepts through knowledge and experience, the need for assessment activities to improve the quality of learning from time to time, and utilization of various learning strategies and methods dynamically and flexibly in accordance with the material, students and learning context.
Pure mathematics to be converted into school mathematics. Teachers need to structure learning syllabus is good and right. The format is a form of presentation of the contents of the syllabus syllabus consisting of competency standards, basic skills, learning materials, a description of learning materials, student learning experience allocation of time, and reference sources are used, whereas the systematic presentation of the syllabus describes the sequence of parts of the syllabus. Format syllabus is made in such a way that teachers or the user can learn and practice the syllabus with ease.
Step-by-step preparation of syllabus Komampuan Based Elementary Mathematics subjects, a series of events that begins with the philosophical study of the development of mathematics education, including the preparation of scientific structures. Learning materials were developed based on the Basic Capabilities, and followed by a description of material and writing a Learning Experience. Draft Competency-Based Curriculum and Syllabus obtained subsequent to the final seminar of the test results at various places in Indonesia. Mathematics instructional material include:

Learning Unit (SP) is a translation in a more operational than the syllabus into fragments operationally learning activities that can be done by the teacher. Learning program is a plan classroom activities designed by teachers which contains step-by-step scenario of what will be done with students. SP components include: the identity of subjects, basic skills, learning materials, learning strategies, instructional media, assessment, and resource materials.
