Development of quality Vocational School (SMK) has the form, stages, and different performance. Shape the development of quality excellence include local, international standard, focus on specific needs, and the enrichment of local needs. Performance includes the development of quality vocational local competitiveness, protection of social order, prosperity, unity, and equality. Stages of development include the quality of vocational preparation, formation and strengthening, protection and harvest results. SMK throughout Indonesia is obliged to prepare the workforce to suit the needs of the area and expected of each student after graduating from vocational school can be independent and open their own jobs without having to rely on the fate of others by finding a job around. National education standards include content standards and competency standards. Competency standards are divided into standards of educators and education personnel, facilities and infrastructure standards, funding standards, management standards, and standardized assessments. Each vocational curriculum should look again to be executable plan, implement, evaluate, reflect and revise the parts that do not correspond with what is expected. Schools must renew the paradigm that the school should be decentralized, democratic, transparent, service, innovative, proactive, respect for diversity, and being receptive to constructive criticism.
