UNY aims print staff, develop science education and science teacher, and print professional academics non-educational. Perspective of the global era not only penetrated the field of education alone but has been reaching out to all aspects of life. To reach the international level, UNY have an obligation to support government policy to develop the schools SBI / UNY RSBI and thus must take step leading international universities.
UNY has a long-term goal of becoming an international university with under 500 was also ranked universities in the world. Five-year program and the annual WCU program developed and implemented in the circuit to achieve medium-and short-term goals. WCU programs are developed as follows:

  1. Development of international standards  
  2. International-standard curriculum  
  3. International standard teaching and learning process  
  4. Assessment of learning outcomes of international standard  
  5. Teaching materials and teaching resources of international standard  
  6. Development of qualified international lecturers  
  7. Employee development and other education personnel to support the World Class University  
  8. Facilities and infrastructure supporting the World Class University  
  9. ICT-based management in order to support WCU  
  10. Library of international standard to support the WCU  
  11. Student competent international  
  12. Research and scientific publications of international standard  
  13. Devotion in society within the framework of WCU  
  14. Cooperation and international exchange

UNY WCU has implemented a program for 2 years (2008 and 2009) in Education Mathematics and Accounting. For two years, the implementation went smoothly but the quality and capabilities of faculty, students, employees, and educational staff speak English well, supporting facilities and the involvement of all parties must be increased in order UNY become increasingly robust international universities.
